So, this is a beginning. This blog will be my gamedesign-journal for my current board game project (“B&B”).
We will start with some background info (only related to this project), the first roots of this game, then moving on to the design process – which really started this year, 2022. Aaand then just go on with it.
At some time – according to my plan, somewhere in November (2022) – I’ll catch up with the current events. Then we will already be deep in the testing and balancing phase with the game, so I’ll cover those, somehow in a not-so-boring manner. At the end of the winter, we will hopefully start to prepare the P&P version (or playable prototypes) for the first blind testings, which will be announced here, be prepared!
The posts won’t be long, and hopefully will be updated at least weekly. I’m also doing the ‘art direction’ for this game (if I could call it that already…), so there will be a lot of small sketches and similar stuff. I’m trying to use as many pics and animations as I can, to illustrate the process – I’ll probably make some only for this blog.
